Mayor To Activate First Traffic Signal During Administration
posted August 8, 2005
On Tuesday morning, Mayor Ron Littlefield will join representatives from the traffic engineering department to activate the first new traffic signal installed during his administration in front of the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences
Stop the presses! Step back Builder Bob! Waterfront schmaterfront--we gots a brand new traffic light, right here in River City!
Thank God, the man is striving for lofty goals. I'm so relieved that regulating traffic isn't being handled by the professionals who are trained and paid to think about the day-to-day function of how to move traffic in and out of a school. This problem must have been unprecedented in Chattanooga history. Clearly, this problem needed some micromanagement from the highest level! And talk about a big PR splash!
We here at WME can only say--Let the boom continue.
