Overheard at City Hall [A recurring feature.]
City Employee #1- Xxxxx told me that Littlefield hasn’t said a word about the whole Crutchfield indictment publicly, because he’s afraid that his relationship with Ward is being investigated too or there’s another shoe to drop or something.
City Employee #2- Investigated for what?
CE#1 – Well, who the hell knows, the list is probably pretty long!
CE#2 – So, if Littlefield gets indicted, does that mean Sally Robinson becomes mayor?
CE#1 – What if it's Leamon! Mayor BeatDown! How ya like me now?!
*Hey, I hear things at work and repeat it here. That kid at the New York Times just made sh*t up, and he got a book deal. So, here at WME, we have higher standards than the NY Times, and they charge $1.50. You’re welcome.
