Littlefield To Announce Great Ideas Competition
[from Mayor’s office press release]
Mayor Ron Littlefield will speak to thousands of Hamilton County Teachers, on Monday "to talk about his exciting initiative highlighting creativity in Chattanooga’s public schools," officials said.
“The Great Ideas Competition will give our students the opportunity to harness their creativity, imagination, and innovation,” said Mayor Littlefield.
The dearth of ideas in the Littlefield administration has clearly reached tragic levels [See “*Gasp* A NEW Traffic Light!”]. In his desperation, Ron has struck upon the first truly creative idea of his term: troll local kids for ideas!
How was Ron to know that lying, push polls and sliming the reputations of good people (otherwise known as campaigning to him) was going to be the easy part of this gig? Who knew you’d have to think and lead too?! Wah! Imagine his dismay when he discovered that as the top guy, people expect leadership, often in the form of creative ideas. Well, here’s hoping some 10th grader in Middle Valley has a clue about job recruitment or we’re really screwed.
Seriously, is it just me, or does this guy still act like a councilman, but with smaller ideas.
