Pot. Kettle. Black.
We here at WME try to keep our staff focused on Mayor Ron Littlefield and his degree of crapness, but sometimes a story comes across the newswire that just can't be ignored. Marti Rutherford, a woman so dumb that using that word to describe her offends blond models across the globe, has called Chattanooga's legislative process 'dumb.'
Now, if anyone would have a solid grasp on the concept of 'dumb' it would be Marti Rutherford. But why did she run for office again, if she didn't want to attend committee meetings? It's just part of the deal. Frankly, it's the only time issues are actually discussed freely.
So she's not going to attend any committee meetings (except the one she chairs, curiously) and she's going to bring the Council meetings proper to a standstill by asking a lot of questions--dumb ones, most likely.
This is a move so catastrophically stupid it could only be made by Marti. In her decades upon eons at city hall (well, it feels like that long, anyway) she has never been elected chair of the council. Her fellow representatives have no respect for her. Zip. There's a good reason for that--SHE'S AN IDIOT.
Brainerd, having spewed forth both Littlefield and Rutherford--you've got a lot to answer for.
